From 5 to 9 December 2016, the European Commission is organising a first European Vocational Skills Week to inspire people to discover, use and improve their talents and abilities through vocational training.

On 17 November 2016, Yerevan hosted the 8th informal Eastern Partnership (EaP) Ministerial meeting, which besides the Foreign Ministers’ session, provided for the session on research, science and innovation with the participation of the ministers of science and technology.

High Representative Federica Mogherini has proposed today an Implementation Plan on Security and Defence, to turn into action the vision set out in the EU Global Strategy. 

Many parts of Georgia still suffer from irregular water supply, with a significant impact on the lives and livelihoods in the towns and villages affected. Now, with EU support through a water infrastructure modernisation project, the taps are beginning to run again, delivering clean water to homes and businesses, improving living standards and contributing to regional development.
