Since 2021, Irakli Papava has been the representative of the Information Center in the Guria region.

He has extensive experience of working as a lawyer in the private sector. At various times, he worked as a coordinator and/or lawyer of projects: “Implementation of law and rights with the participation of adolescents”, “Ancestors and descendants on the watch of children’s rights”, “Union to protect the rights of water users”, “Public initiatives for changes and democracy”, “Citizens for open and effective local self-government”, “Development of local democratic institutions”, others. He is the author of books and scientific articles on the of EU law.

He has attended various training seminars on NATO, European Union, Association Agreement and DCFTA. He has been the founder of the organization “Union of Democratic Development of Georgia” and a lawyer since 2002. Irakli Papava holds Master’s degree in international law from the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
