Irma Gabinashvili
Regional representative of Adjara
Since 2016, Irma Gabinashvili has been the representative of the Information Center in the Adjara region.
She has attended professional development courses in international security and foreign policy, strategic communication, media literacy and anti-disinformation methods at IREX-Georgia, DW Akademie Georgia, PH International & GCSD, NATO Public Diplomacy Division and SlovakAid, Frankfurt Goethe University. Within the framework of the media education programme – MEP of the U.S. Department of State, she has completed internship in the U.S. higher educational institutions, as well as in Poland’s University of Szczecin, within the scope of the EU academic mobility programme ERASMUS+. She has many years of experience working in the public sector – coordination of sectoral structural units of local self-government and management of educational programs, and as a lecturer at the state higher education institutions.
Irma Gabinashvili holds Master’s degree in journalism from the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, and PhD degree in philology from the Shota Rustaveli Batumi State University. She has published several scientific works and articles.
