Project name: Let’s Meet Britain

Project implementation period: 2015-2016

Target group: children of military personnel.

Project goal: to involve the children of military personnel more actively in the social life.

Project description: Within the framework of the project, free English language and British culture courses are offered to children of military personnel of the Georgian Defence Forces killed or wounded in the August 2008 war and the NATO-led peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan.  The training course also includes classes in art history, drama, singing and photography.

Open classes, performances and various educational activities are periodically held in the “British Corner” with the participation of children of military personnel, through the support of the Information Center on NATO and EU.

In the future, it may be possible to send a group of young people to Great Britain for a study visit.
